A Canberra woman has sobbed tears of joy after discovering she is now $200,000 richer from winning the 1st Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The thrilled winner won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1321, drawn Wednesday 22 May 2019.
A NSW Lotteries official broke the news to the unsuspecting winner this afternoon, who had no idea of her good fortune.
“Whoa! Oh my god! Thank you so much!” she said while crying tears of joy.
“You don’t know the story of my life and how much this money means to me.
“I have had a really rough time lately so it has come at a really good time for me and will help me get back on my feet.”
The emotional but overjoyed winner revealed that she would put her Lucky Lotteries windfall to good use.
“I will have to take some time to think about how exactly I will spend the prize but I know some of it will go towards buying a home of my own,” she said.
“All of my family live overseas so I can’t wait to call them and tell them the news.
“I might even be able to tell them I will be booking a holiday to see them soon!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her two random number entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $66.04 million for draw 1322 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.15 million for draw 10290.
