A Canberra woman has confessed she still can’t fathom how the lottery numbers she chose made her $2.7 million richer in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The Canberra resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4357, drawn Saturday 22 April 2023, and took home $2,738,653.89.
“This is absolutely insane!” the winning woman cheered when lottery officials called to confirm the winning news this morning.
“You know, I checked my ticket over the weekend and saw it!
“I told myself that it can’t be real until someone confirms it with me.
“I pick my lottery numbers every week! My partner couldn’t believe it. He had to double-check I’d picked these numbers too.
“We’ve had a bit of a challenging time lately, so this is going to make a massive difference!
“We might pay off the mortgage and go for a holiday together as a family.
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning marked 14-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4357 on 22 April 2023 were 32, 4, 38, 41, 34, 29, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 11.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4357 – One each in Victoria and ACT.
