A Fairfield West woman is looking forward to sleeping better than ever after winning more than $580,000 in the Easter weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The New South Wales resident held one of the nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4353, drawn Saturday 8 April 2023. Her winning entry scored a total prize of $582,463.60.
“This is absolutely life-changing!” she yelled when an official from The Lott confirmed her windfall.
“I never expected to win anything, and now that I have, I’m lost for words.
“It’s going to mean I can pay off some loans and other debts and start the rest of my life with some added security.
“Honestly, I’m still in shock, but I know I’m going to sleep easy for a long time to come.
“There’s definitely a holiday awaiting me later in the year.
“I’ve wanted to travel for so long but haven’t been able to until now.
“I can’t thank you enough. This is the most amazing Easter news!”
The winning woman’s entry was purchased at News Connect, Shop 10-11, 368 Hamilton Road, Fairfield West.
News Connect owner Kerlis Boules said he and the team were over the moon and jumping for joy after selling another division one winning entry.
“This is our second division one winning entry, and we’re all so excited,” he said.
“It’s great to know that one of our customers has had their life changed.
“It shows that it’s possible to win division one, you’ve just got to be in it to win it.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4353 on 8 April 2023 were 9, 40, 13, 11, 6 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 20 and 18.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4353 – Three each in Western Australia and Victoria, two in New South Wales and one in Queensland.
