Thirty Central Queensland residents won big in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw and are ready for a life-changing 2023 after two $1.4 million division one wins landed in the region.
A Calliope man and the 29-person Yeppoon syndicate held two of the 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4363 on Saturday 13 May 2023. Both entries each won a division one prize worth $1,428,571.43.

A Calliope man is preparing to say goodbye to renting and hello to homeownership after bagging more than $1.4 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
“This can’t actually be real, can it? Have I just won the lottery?” he asked incredulously when an official from The Lott called to confirm his windfall.
“Oh my god! Oh my god! This is going to change my life in so many ways.
“I’m lost for words. I never expected anything like this to happen to me.
“And it hasn’t been the easiest few years so this is incredible.
“I can’t wait to go house shopping and buy my first home!
“Thank you so much.”
The winning man’s 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
29 Yeppoon players stroll into the working week with a share of $1.4 million Saturday Gold Lotto win
Twenty-nine players from Yeppoon have started the week with a boost to their bank balance after sharing a $1.4 million division one prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
Each member of the syndicate received a winning share worth $49,464.64.
However, some syndicate members may have yet to discover their winning news, prompting lottery officials to encourage players in the region to check their Saturday Gold Lotto tickets today.
Entries into the winning store syndicate were sold at Cedar Park Foodworks, Shop 9, Cedar Park Shopping Centre, 1 Swordfish Avenue, Yeppoon.
Cedar Park Foodworks owner Ross Lane said he was over the moon for his division one winning customers.
“We’ve only been operating for just over six months, and this is our first division one win, so we’re absolutely stoked!” he said.
“It’s also fantastic to know so many of our customers will share in this fantastic win.
“Great to see everyone getting to share a bit of love.
“We’ll be celebrating for weeks, but right now we’re trying to come to terms with the fact we’ve sold a division one winning entry.
“It’s amazing!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4363 on 13 May 2023 were 33, 23, 24, 36, 22 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 34.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4363 – four each in Western Australia and New South Wales and three each in Queensland and Victoria.
