A North Ryde resident or visitor has jumped into the week as a newly-minted multi-millionaire after scoring $2.5 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, but first they need to check their ticket and discover the life-changing news.
The mystery ticketholder held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4559, drawn Saturday 29 March 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2.5 million.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Macquarie Centre, Shop 3344, Level 3, Macquarie Centre, Corner Herring, North Ryde.
The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she hoped the region’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“Our mystery winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve won $2.5 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” she said.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from Nextra Macquarie Centre to check their tickets today!
“Just imagine how thrilling it would be to discover you were $2.5 million richer! Your plans for the rest of the year and into the future would change in a moment.
“If you discover you’re holding the golden ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4559 on 29 March 2025 were 36, 3, 17, 1, 21 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 30.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4559 – two each in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, and one each in Victoria and the ACT.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 354 so far in FY25, including 96 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In 2024, Saturday Lotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 316 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $400.2 million.
