A Gold Coast resident or visitor has scored a life-changing $1.9 million in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw, but first, they need to check their ticket and discover their million-dollar win.

The mystery Queensland player held the Jackpot Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11039, drawn Monday 15 September 2025. They look forward to the entire prize of $1,930,011.00.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their newfound treasure. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The Jackpot Prize winning entry was purchased at Golden Lucky News, Shop 1040, Westfield Helensvale, 1-29 Millaroo Drive, Helensvale.

Golden Lucky News owner Melaine Zhi shared she was thrilled to have sold a Jackpot Prize winning entry, marking the biggest ticket the outlet had ever sold.

“We’re so excited to hear the incredible news! We can’t believe we sold a Jackpot Prize winning entry!” she cheered.

“Over the years we’ve sold a few division one, two, and three winning entries, but this is by far our biggest winning entry to date.

“We’re excited to celebrate the good news with our customers in-store over the coming weeks.

“We hope our mystery winner checks their ticket soon!”

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped the Gold Coast’s latest major prize winner checked their ticket and discovered their newly-minted millionaire status soon.

“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they scored a Jackpot Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anybody who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from Golden Lucky News to check their ticket as soon as possible because they could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you were holding a winning ticket worth $1.9 million? You could pack your bags and go on your dream holiday, unlock the door to your forever home, or look to help your nearest and dearest loved ones.

“Make sure you check your tickets, and if you do discover that you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club. Golden Lucky News, the newsagency where this ticket was purchased, previously sold a division one winning entry in August 2018. Unfortunately, the $671,513 prize went unclaimed after seven years because the ticket had not been registered.

“If your ticket is registered with The Lott Members Club and you’re fortunate enough to score a major prize, we can reach out immediately after the draw with the winning news.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $12.88 million for draw 1719, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $500,000 for draw 11040.

In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In FY25, more than 123.8 million winners took home more than $4.1 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Gold Lotto, Weekday Windfall, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno (SA), Super 66, Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.66 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.  As part of its commitment to supporting the community, The Lott proudly supports Play For Purpose, the not-for-profit charity raffle that gives Australians the chance to win while helping more than 500 causes across the country.
