A military family from Chermside always thought they would win $20,000 one day, but were happily surprised to discover they won ten times that amount thanks to a $200,000 Lucky Lotteries prize.
The surprised family scored a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot 1st Prize in draw 1530, drawn Thursday 29 April 2021 and takes home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000.00.
Speaking with an official from The Lott, the Brisbane mum said her family was on cloud nine.
“I haven’t cried this much in ages!” she wept happily.
“Thank you so, so much! We have had the hardest time lately. I can’t even begin to explain what this means to me.
“This is the best!
“I have always told my husband I was going to win $20,000, and now I have won $200,000!
“This will make a huge difference to our lives. I could die – I’m so happy!
“I called my husband and told him he needed to sit down because I had something to tell him… he asked if it was bad, but I said it’s the opposite.
“I can’t wait to break the news to the rest of my family tonight!
“We will definitely be celebrating this incredible win.”
The emotional woman said the family knew exactly how they would enjoy the prize.
“This will be a house deposit! It means we can finally buy ourselves a home,” the winning woman continued.
“We will also help our family and in the future, we’d love to go on a trip overseas.”
The happy winners, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
