A Chigwell man is ready to up-the-ante on his camping getaways with a brand-new campervan after discovering he nabbed $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Tasmanian resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10579, drawn Monday 30 May 2022.

The mirthful man took a little longer to discover his windfall after continuously declining the winning phone call from The Lott.

“F*** off! I can’t believe it!” he told an official from The Lott.

“I’ve never won anything big. I have the occasional $10 win here and there, so this is great!

“I thought you were a telemarketer for so long. Initially, when you called on the day of the draw, I was recovering from night shift, and I couldn’t speak.

“I’m really glad I checked my ticket today though - $100,000 is awesome.

“I’ll only tell my mother. She will be so happy!

“I love to go fishing, and I’ve always wanted to buy a campervan. The prize will definitely go towards a new one! I need more comfort when I go camping!”

His winning entry of four random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $10.61 million for draw 1575, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $14.70 million for draw 10584.

In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
