An Adelaide resident or visitor has started the day $1 million richer after scooping a division one win in Friday night’s Weekday Windfall draw but may be completely unaware of their new millionaire status.

The mystery winner held one of three division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4571, drawn Friday 11 July 2025 and pocketed a clean $1 million.

Incredibly, another South Australian also struck gold over the weekend with a Saturday X Lotto ticket purchased in Naracoorte that is also unregistered and remains unclaimed.

If the winners had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the players to their good fortune.

Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The Weekday Windfall winning entry was purchased from OTR Salisbury North, 102 Waterloo Corner Road, Salisbury North.

OTR Salisbury North spokesperson Yasser Shahin said they hoped their lottery winner checked their tickets soon.

“We’ve been asking all our lottery players who come into the outlet to check their tickets. We’re hoping they’ve got the winning entry tucked away somewhere – perhaps in a wallet or purse,” he said.

“We’re desperate to unite our winner with their prize and can’t wait to see their reaction when they discover they’re the person we’ve been searching for.

“We really hope they realise their good fortune soon!”

The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she looked forward to uniting the winner with their newfound treasure.

“We certainly hope this winner comes forward soon. Can you imagine scoring $1 million and having absolutely no idea?” she said.

“There are two South Australians who scored division one wins over the weekend, and both we’ve been unable to contact as their tickets were unregistered.

“This is a great reminder to all players to register your lottery tickets to The Lott Members Club, so if you are to score a major prize, we can reach out to you with the life-changing news.

“We’re encouraging anybody who purchased a Weekday Windfall ticket from OTR Salisbury North to check their ticket as soon as possible because you could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“The winning ticket could be anywhere. Be sure to check your pockets, cars and bedside tables because you could be holding the million-dollar ticket.

“You can check your tickets in store, online or via The Lott app. If you do discover that you’re holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the exciting process of claiming your prize.”
