A South Melbourne man is excited to tee up some luxury golf tours after scoring more than $1 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4203, drawn Saturday 30 October 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $1,205,982.96.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the happy man admitted he wasn’t surprised when he discovered he’d won division one.

“I found out on Saturday night after the draw. It was quite late at night, so I was half asleep when I checked my ticket,” he explained.

“As first I thought I might be seeing things, but then I took a closer look and realised what I was actually seeing.

“Honestly, it was great! I was on my own at the time so I couldn’t really jump up and down and get too excited about it. But it was awesome knowing I’d won.

“It’s funny though because I always expected it to happen.

“I just had this feeling it was going to happen, so when I saw I’d won, I wasn’t all that surprised. It just felt like my time had come.

“I called my family and a few friends and told them I’d finally won division one. It was a great moment!

“My partner actually got up me because she said I wasn’t excited enough. But I told her it’s not that I am not excited, it’s just that I knew I was going to win one day, and I did.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the elated man said he couldn’t wait to have more fun.

“It’s a really nice boost,” he revealed.

“I love golf, so this is going to mean more time to enjoy that.

“I would love to play golf all around the world. So, the plan is to buy some new golf gear and plan some really nice golf tours next year.

“I’ll invest some of it as well, but it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

His winning entry was purchased at South Melbourne Lotto, Shop G09 265 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.

South Melbourne Lotto owner Chris Wilson said selling a division one winning entry marked an exciting milestone for his outlet.

“I was so surprised when I heard,” he shared.

“We’ve been sharing the news with all of our customers. All of them are so excited to hear we’d made one of our players an overnight millionaire.

“This is the first division one winning entry I have sold since I took ownership about four years ago. It’s such a big moment for us and we want to celebrate as much as possible.

“We’d love to send our congratulations to our winner. It’s amazing to see one of our players win big.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4203 on 30 October 2021 were 32, 16 29, 26, 30 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 37.

Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4203 – two in New South Wales and one each in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 389 so far this calendar year, including 141 won by Tatts customers.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, TattsLotto created 174 millionaires across Australia.
