A bunch of lifelong Cabramatta mates are now newly-minted millionaires after their private syndicate hit the jackpot with a $4.2 million win over the weekend.
The four Sydneysiders held one of seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4593, drawn Saturday 26 July 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $4,285,714.29.
Each member of the private syndicate can look forward to a dazzling $1,071,428.57.
When an official from The Lott called to confirm the winning news, the private syndicate leader relayed how the group had been friends for decades, and how the win would be a great opportunity to catch up.
“I’m very good today! Thank you very much!” he said.
“It’s a group of us that won. We’ve been friends for over 30 years. It’ll be split four ways.
“It’s funny thinking about how we used to hang out together and play together, and now we’ve won this together.
“We usually play when there’s a big draw. I was the one who originally said, ‘Let’s do it!’, because I would play when I was younger.
“It’s amazing. It’ll help all our families.
“We’ll certainly have to all get together and celebrate.
“It’s a huge prize. We’ll be able to clear the mortgage, which is amazing.
“We might also do a trip away with family and friends.
“This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment! I’m still shaken up.”
Their System 10 QuickPick entry was purchased at Canley Heights Newsagency, Shop 1, 219 Canley Vale Road, Canley Heights.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4593 on 26 July 2025 were 17, 23, 40, 42, 44 and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 27 and 39.
Across Australia, there was seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4593 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 251 so far in 2025, including 65 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In 2024, Saturday Lotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.
