A group of 10 gleeful Gatton shoppers will be over the moon this morning after their syndicate scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The store syndicate held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4271, drawn Saturday 25 June 2022. Each entry scored a division one prize of $2,857,142.86.
In addition to the division one win, the syndicate’s System entry also won division three 30 times, division four 150 times and division six 200 times, bolstering the total prize to $2,885,851.26. Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $288,585.14.
Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Gatton Plaza Newsagency, Shop 7 – 8 Gatton Plaza, Gatton.
However, as some of the syndicate members were unregistered, they may have yet to discover their division one winning news. Players are being urged to check their tickets today.
Gatton Plaza Newsagency owner Chau Vuong said the store was buzzing this morning with the news they’d sold a division one winning syndicate.
“It’s amazing. I’m lost for words!” she proclaimed.
“I honestly can’t believe it’s happened and there’s a buzz around the store this morning. Everyone is so excited.
“I’m also so happy that this incredible win has been shared between 10 of our customers.
“It’s certainly going to change some wonderful people’s lives!
“Congratulations to all of the winners. It’s wonderful and I wish them all the best in their futures.”
The Lott spokesperson James Eddy urged all players who purchased a syndicate share into the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw to check their entries as soon as they could.
“Imagine starting the week with more than $280,000 heading your way! It would be incredible,” he said.
“If you purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate entry from Gatton Plaza Newsagency, today is the day to check your entry.
“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call us on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4271 on 25 June 2022 were 25, 20, 6, 16, 18, 36, while the supplementary numbers were 33 and 39.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4271 – Three each in Victoria and Western Australia and one in Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 220 so far this calendar year, including 51 won by Golden Casket customers.
In 2021, Saturday Gold Lotto created 210 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 351 division one winning in Saturday Gold Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $499.8 million.
