A Glen Eira man has finished his weekend by drafting his resignation letter after winning $2.8 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4441, drawn Saturday 10 February 2024. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2,857,142.86.
The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until an official from The Lott made contact with him on Sunday morning to confirm the life-changing news.
“Woah! That’s a big surprise! I’ve just checked my ticket online,” he exclaimed.
“It’s good. Oh my god!
“This will come in handy. I’m just going to retire now. I’ll have to write a letter to my boss!
“I was going to retire in a couple of years, but now I can just do it. This has come in very handy
“I’ve been worrying about where to from here, but now I don’t have to worry.
“This is massive!
“I normally only play the big draws so I had my ticket into this Superdraw. Usually I don’t answer the phone if I don’t know the number, but I’m glad I took this call!”
The man purchased his winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4441 on 10 February 2024 were 42, 2, 12, 13, 1 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 3.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4441 – two each in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and one in Western Australia.
