A Hobartville man says he’s been bouncing off the walls with excitement since discovering he won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Sydney resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10283, drawn Monday 15 April 2019.
A NSW Lotteries official spoke to the winner this afternoon when he’d just checked his entry online and learnt of his good fortune.
“Thank you! That is wonderful!” he exclaimed.
“It’s just great!
“At my age you don’t run around or jump too much, but I’ve been jumping up and down, bouncing off the walls and running around the house!
“You’ve made my day. I’m so excited!”
The winner revealed he’d been dreaming of one day receiving a winning phone call like this.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for many years. I probably started playing in about 1970,” he explained.
“I’ve been praying I’d one day receive this phone call!
“It will finalise our mortgage and we will also be able to help our family, which is just lovely!
“I’ll have to open a bottle of something that goes ‘pop’ to celebrate!”
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of 10 random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $55.96 million for draw 1280 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.92 million for draw 10284.
