An inner-city Sydney engineer has finally discovered his $200,000 pay day more than two weeks after winning the 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1313, drawn Wednesday 15 May 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the man revealed he had no idea he’d scored a major prize until today.
“Yesterday morning I checked my ticket at a newsagency,” he explained
“I knew I had won a big prize but I didn’t realise it was $200,000!
“It’s great! It’s such a good feeling to have money I never thought I had!”
The winner revealed he’d been playing Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot regularly, eyeing off the jackpot prize.
“I will certainly be sensible with my prize and think carefully about how I’ll put it to use,” he explained.
“It will probably go towards some bills and the mortgage, it will be great!
“We will have to book an overseas holiday for the end of the year to celebrate as well!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of two consecutive numbers at World News Centre Met Centre, Shop G11 Met Centre, 273 George Street, Sydney.
World News Centre Met Centre employee Olga Jurcagova said she was relieved to know the winner had finally claimed their prize.
“It always feels so nice to see people so happy and to know we’ve played a part in that!” she exclaimed.
“We can’t wait to sell more winning entries to our customers soon!

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $68.68 million for draw 1333 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.41 for draw 10292.
