After seven weeks of jackpotting, Oz Lotto has soared to a sky-high $70 million prize and the question on everybody’s lips is – ‘What entry type wins division one the most?’.

Ahead of Tuesday’s draw, which is expecting up to one-in-four Australian adults to have an entry, the Lott can reveal the winning entry types that have scored the Oz Lotto multi-million dollar prizes over the past three years.

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said many Aussies would be keen to grab their hands on an entry into the equal highest Oz Lotto draw, so far this year.

“We’ve crunched the data and found it was a marked System 8 entry that scored division one the most,” she said.

“This entry type has strong form. This type of entry scored the most division one wins the last time Oz Lotto reached $70 million which was won by three winning entries – two of which were held by the same player who had marked the same numbers on a System 8 entry.

“A system entry is a special type of entry that allows you to play more numbers in each game panel, which giving you more chances to win.

“In fact one-in-five division one winning entries in Oz Lotto from the past three years were a system entry.”

Ms Spencer revealed there were other entry types that also frequently scored division one.

“For those players who prefer not to choose their numbers but instead grab a QuickPick, where the numbers are randomly chosen by the lottery terminal, there is good news!” she exclaimed.

“The second most common entry type for Oz Lotto division one winner is a 50-game QuickPick entry.

“It’s important to note that you don’t need a big entry to win. Sharing the spot for the third most common entry type is a six game QuickPick entry and a four game marked entry – some of the smallest entries you can play!

“No matter which entry type you choose to play, entry has a chance to win $70 million which is why players should get in early to grab their chance of becoming a multi-millionaire!”

Oz Lotto draw 1322 closes at 7:30pm AEST on Tuesday 18 June 2019.

Tickets can be purchased at any licensed lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via the Lott mobile app.
