A Moree man who always believed he’d win big one day nearly toppled over in shock upon discovering his $100,000 win in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The northern New South Wales resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot, draw 11032, drawn Friday 1 August 2025. He looks forward to a life-enhancing $100,000.

When an official from The Lott called the winning man, he was initially sceptical and left questioning if the call was genuine.

“Jeez Louise! Are you sure this is all fair dinkum?” he questioned.

“Holy! I nearly fell over when you were reading out all the details.

“Thank you! I’m just trying my very best to hold myself up right now.

“I’ve always found I’d win free tickets, or $30 here and there playing Lucky Lotteries, but $100,000 is next level.

“Call me crazy, but I knew a big win would come one day.”

With $100,000 set to boost his bank account, the stunned man shared he would be immediately retiring his car and upgrading to a fresh set of wheels.

“Oh look, I’ve been in need of a new car for a while now. I’ll have to retire my current one and look at something brand spanking new,” he said.

“I’ll have to have a look on Carsales later today.”

His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $10.72 million for draw 1710, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.15 million for draw 11033.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2024, more than 195.3 million winners took home more than $4.84 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Weekday WindfallPowerballOz LottoSet for LifeLucky LotteriesKeno (SA)Super 66Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.
