A Jerrabomberra man is packing his bags and planning a holiday of a lifetime overseas after discovering his Saturday Lotto division one fortune.
The New South Wales player one held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4021 on Saturday 1 February 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize of $692,782.72.
Confirming the life-changing news with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man explained the moment he discovered his win.
“I’m pretty happy with that!” he laughed.
“I checked my ticket after the draw on Saturday night and that’s when I realised I’d won division one!
“I couldn’t believe it. The news is definitely still sinking in.
“I’ve been playing regularly for decades but I never thought this day would actually arrive!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his division one fortune, the New South Wales player already had a few ideas.
“I’ll be able to pay a few bills off and go on a holiday, which is very overdue,” he explained.
“I’ve always dreamt of travelling overseas to a tropical island so I’ll be doing just that!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Jerra Newsagency & Tobacconist, Shop 4, Jerrabomberra Village, 2 Limestone Drive, Jerrabomberra.
In 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4021 on Saturday 1 February 2020 were 33, 24, 17, 1, 10 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 26 and 5.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4021 – three from Queensland and one each from New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 233 so far this financial year, including 75 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
Between 1 January and 31 December 2019, there were 289 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $333.41 million.
