A Kincumber man couldn’t contain his excitement, jumping for joy and shouting with delight, after discovering he’d scored $100,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The Central Coast resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11009, drawn Monday 23 June 2025. He looks forward to a sweet $100,000 prize.

So far in 2025, the Hunter and Central Coast region has celebrated 22 major lottery wins, totalling more than $37.1 million in prize money.

The stunned winner confessed he’d been enjoying a relaxing day off when he noticed multiple missed calls and a voicemail from The Lott, which prompted him to check his online account.

“Wow. That’s crazy!” the winning man laughed when an official from The Lott confirmed his prize.

“I’m shaking over here.

“I’ve just been taking it easy today and noticed I’d missed a couple of calls.

“I heard your voicemail said something about my online account with The Lott, so I had to log in and that’s when I saw the good news.

“It was a voicemail I was very happy to hear.

“I was screaming at the top of my lungs when I checked my ticket. I went running to my partner and yelled, ‘We just won $100,000!’.”

With $100,000 set to boost his bank account, the gleeful man shared the win would go a long way, by paving a brighter future for his family.

“It’s life changing. It’s going to better my family’s life 100%,” he shared.

“I’m getting emotional thinking about all the things we could do.

“I think we’ll start by going out for lunch now.”

His winning entry of seven random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.52 million for draw 1705, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $22.21 million for draw 11011.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2024, more than 195.3 million winners took home more than $4.84 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Weekday Windfall, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno (SA), Super 66, Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.8 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.  As part of its commitment to supporting the community, The Lott proudly supports Play For Purpose, the not-for-profit charity raffle that gives Australians the chance to win while helping more than 500 causes across the country.
