A Coomera shopper is heading into the weekend $10,000 richer after scratching one of the top prizes on a $1 Ladybird Luck Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The winning entry was purchased at Newsextra Coomera, Shop B1 Coomera City, Coomera.
How the happy winner plans to enjoy their $10,000 instant windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
Newsextra Coomera manager Jodie Mitchell said it was thrilling to have sold a top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its.
“It’s so awesome! We are very excited and happy for our winner!” she exclaimed.
“We sold another top prize winning scratchie about 11 years ago so it’s nice to have sold another one!
“I can’t wait to tell all of our customers we’ve sold a major prize.
“Congratulations to our winner! We wish them all the best!”
The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said that while we may never know how this winner plans to enjoy their windfall we are certain scratching the win is a moment they’ll never forget.
“There is no doubt that instantly scoring $10,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket would be a life-changing moment!” she exclaimed.
“Other winners have told us that in that moment they often can’t believe their eyes and it usually takes a moment or two to sink in.
