A Campbelltown retiree has revealed winning big runs in his family and he’s not the only person he knows to snag a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize.
The Sydney resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10298, drawn Monday 8 July 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the winner revealed his family was familiar to big prizes.
“Thank you very much!” he laughed.
“Oh my goodness. That’s wonderful. Very, very good!
“I am so grateful. It’s very nice to win, I can tell you that!
“My sister won the $100,000 1st Prize years ago, so winning runs in the family.
“I’m going to keep trying for the jackpot prize so maybe you will be calling me again!”
Family was all the generous man could think of when the news of his unexpected windfall started to sink in.
“I’ll be able to help out my family,” he said.
“I feel incredibly lucky today and rejuvenated!”
The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Minto Newsagency, 1 Minto Road, Minto.
Minto Newsagency owner Zhi Li said the entire team felt like winners themselves after selling the winning entry.
“We are all so happy and very excited for our customer!” she said.
“We wish him all the very best and hope he really enjoys his prize.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $80.92 million for draw 1384 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.32 million for draw 10299.
