A hardworking business owner from Glenelg who has been playing the same numbers for years, was happy to discover he won a major Keno prize for the second time.

The Adelaide resident held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry worth $50,000 in Keno draw 2534365, drawn 3 September 2019.

Speaking with a SA Lotteries official this morning, the thrilled man recalled how he discovered his win.

“I checked my ticket on the app and I saw the win come up,” he shared.

“I said to my wife, ‘I think I’ve won!’ and so we quickly ran to the newsagency and that’s when we discovered the win.

“We were really excited!

“I play the same numbers every time. I’ve been playing them for years, so I am glad they’ve come up.

“I’ve actually won a Spot 7 before with these same numbers, so they feel pretty lucky.

“It’s unbelievable. I am shocked.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the hardworking man said he would share it with his family.

“I think I will celebrate this weekend. I will take my family out for dinner this weekend,” he explained.

“We will go on a holiday at the end of the year. We will just take some time off and relax.

“I am not sure what we will do with the rest, but we will do something good with it.”

The stoked bloke, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Keno Spot 8 winning entry at Kylie Brown’s Newsagency, Shop 17 / Bayside Village Shopping Centre, Glenelg.

Kylie Brown’s Newsagency owner Kylie Brown said they were celebrating making one of their regular customers a Keno Spot 8 winner.

“We were so happy when we discovered the news,” she said.

“It’s always great when one of our customers win, but it’s so nice this prize went to a local customer and a regular.

“We have sold a few winning entries in the past and we can’t wait to sell another.

“There’s lots of celebrations here today and we’ve been sharing the news with all of our customers. They’re so happy for us.”
