A group of long-time friends feel they’re moving a step closer towards their retirement dream after winning $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.

When a NSW Lotteries made contact with the Canberra-based syndicate leader today to confirm their win, she couldn’t contain her excitement.
“Oh my god! That’s brilliant!” she exclaimed.

“There’s actually 14 of us in a syndicate. We’re old friends living all across Australia – from Brisbane to Melbourne and everywhere in between.
“We’ve only just started playing together as a lottery syndicate a few months ago.
“This is very, very cool.”
The syndicate leader shared she and her friends had a dream to build homes close to each other so they could enjoy their future retirement together.
“This is a good start!” she said.
“I can’t wait to tell everyone.”
The syndicate purchased their entry of two random numbers online at www.thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $24.76 million for draw 1150 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.02 million for draw 10254.
