A Melton mum has confessed that moments after discovering she scored division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw life went back to normal, and she continued her Sunday routine of doing the laundry.
The happy winner held one of 14 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4127, drawn Saturday 6 February 2021. Each entry takes home a division one prize worth $428,018.10.
Sharing her excitement with an official from The Lott this morning, the happy winner revealed she had been playing the same numbers for years.
“Thank you! We didn’t want to believe it until you confirmed it!” she exclaimed.
“I thought it wasn’t real. I said to my husband, ‘I think we’ve won’, but we were a bit unsure. I think I was in shock.
“I just checked the ticket yesterday morning on my phone at home. We were stoked!
“We couldn’t really do much after that. We’re parents, so your day doesn’t really change.
“I still did a load of washing and spent my afternoon running around after the kids.
“We play Lotto every week and have been playing the same numbers for years.
“They are made up of our family’s birth dates and our anniversary.
“They’ve always bought us little wins, but only a few weeks ago we won $80!
“We were stoked! We thought it was such a great win we went out to lunch to celebrate. We might have a bigger and better dinner for this win!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her division one windfall, the happy woman said she couldn’t wait to own her home outright.
“Our mortgage will be no longer!” she declared.
“That will be a massive help for us and a great feeling.
“Down the track, we might go on a holiday or something. I’m just looking forward to enjoying it!”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Melton Lotto & TSG, 293 High Street, Melton.
Melton Lotto & TSG owner Phong Thai said he was over-the-moon to discover his outlet had sold another division one winning entry.
“I was very excited! I had a feeling that we might have another win soon!” he exclaimed.
“This is the 42nd division one winning entry we’ve sold. The last one was in June last year.
“We’re a lucky store, and my nickname from my customers is “Mr Lucky”. The nickname has been reinforced because we’ve proved we can do it again.
“We’ve decorated the store with banners and will be talking to our customers about the win. We’ll be sure to spread the winning spirit to all of our players.
“We’ve proved again that Melton is a winning hotspot! There are plenty of chances coming up for our customers to win again! Hopefully, we have another winner soon.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4127 on 8 February 2021 were 3, 10, 12, 6, 8 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 45.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4127 – two from Queensland, three each from New South Wales and Western Australia and six from Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 275 so far this financial year, including 111 won by Tatts customers.
