A Mount Dandenong man has confessed his week has taken a surprise turn for the better after the revelation he was now $200,000 richer from the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The thrilled winner won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1159, drawn Monday 19 November 2018.
“I’m ready for some good news,” the man laughed immediately before a Tatts official revealed his 1st Prize win.
“Really!? Two hundred thousand dollars?! Gee, I love you!
“Oh my God! That’s amazing.
“You have no idea how wonderful this is. I’ve had a bit of a rough time lately, but this is just a beautiful thing.
“This is the light at the end of the tunnel.”
When asked how he might use his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the surprised winner admitted his mind was swimming with ideas.
"At this stage, I can’t even think! I’ll have to really sit down and think about it,” he said.
“This has just turned my whole week around.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of one random number online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $27.4 million for draw 1161 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.41 million for draw 10257.
