A Sussex Inlet woman was so caught up with a game of bingo that she missed multiple phone calls from lottery officials revealing her $100,000 win in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The happy winner held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11016, drawn Monday 30 June 2025 and can look forward to a wondrous $100,000.

“How much have I won?!” she squealed while speaking to an official from The Lott.

“Oh wow. My mouth is on the floor right now!

“Mum’s here beside me, laughing with me. This is incredible.

“I don’t believe it. Wait until I tell my sister. I’m going to call her straight after this.

“I’ve played for years, but funny enough, I stopped a while ago and only started buying tickets again recently.

“I missed your calls earlier because I was at bingo. I had no idea it was about my Lucky Lotteries ticket.

“From hospital bills to other things, it’ll go a long way. Thank you!”

The winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased from Inlet Newsagency, Shop 5, 172 Jacobs Drive, Sussex Inlet.

Inlet Newsagency team member Craig Bryant said the team was thrilled to sell a 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot.

“It’s very exciting news,” he said.

“We’ve put up posters and we’ve been letting our customers know.

Congratulations to the winning person! We hope it enhances your life and you spend it wisely."

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.76 million for draw 1706, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $22.99 million for draw 11018.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
