A mystery Latrobe resident or visitor has started the week as a newly-minted millionaire – they just don’t know it yet.

The unknown player holds one of the 12 division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3995, drawn Saturday 2 November 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,666,666.67.

As the winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card, officials have no way of contacting the ticket holder directly to confirm the life-changing news.

The winning entry was sold at Latrobe Newsagency, 90 Gilbert Street, Latrobe.

Latrobe Newsagency manager Cherylene Ashdown said the weekend’s win continued 2019’s winning streak for the store, which was also celebrating its 40th anniversary as a Tatts outlet.

“I was thrilled to hear the news we had sold a division one winning entry in Saturday night’s Superdraw. This is the second division one we’ve sold so far this year – the last one was in June – but this is the first time we have sold a division one winning entry in a TattsLotto Superdraw,” she said.

“Selling a division one doesn’t just generate an exciting atmosphere in our store, but for the whole town. It’s a great opportunity to showcase to our customers that although we are a small town, big winners still happen and dreams can come true!

“Congratulations to the winner and I’m sure this life-changing event will create some wonderful opportunities.”

Tatts spokesperson Matt Hart said he urged any Latrobe shoppers who purchased an entry into the weekend’s TattsLotto $20 Million Superdraw to check their entries as soon as possible.

“Could there be any better way to start the working week than discovering you’re now a TattsLotto millionaire?” he said.

“If you realise you’re the Latrobe division one winner we’re looking for, hold on tight to that ticket and give us a call immediately on 131 868 to confirm the win and start the prize claim process.”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 193 millionaires across Australia.
