One mystery Sydney CBD shopper has already had a Christmas to remember, scoring more than $1 million the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw – they just don’t know it yet!

The oblivious winner held one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 on Saturday 22 December 2018. Each entry takes home the division one prize of $1,018,499.24.

The winning entry was purchased at Connection Newsagency, Shop P6, Hunter Connection, 109 Pitt Street, Sydney. It was the only entry from New South Wales to score division one in the weekend’s draw.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said the division one winning entry was not registered to a Players Club card, so he had no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.

“If you bought a ticket in Saturday Lotto from Connection Newsagency, we urge you to check it now! You could be our mystery millionaire!” he said.

“I know everyone is busy rushing around with last-minute tasks ahead of the big day tomorrow, but with more than $1 million waiting to be claimed, checking your Lotto ticket should be at the top of your Christmas list.

“How would your plans for Christmas and 2019 change with more than $1 million in your bank account?

“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

Connection Newsagency owner Mark Hou said one of his customers was destined for a great Christmas – if only they checked their ticket.

The outlet last sold a division one prize in 2006, when one customer pocketed more than $1.1 million in a Saturday Lotto draw.

“It’s exciting news! It’s big for the winner,” he said.

“We’re ready to break the news to the customer when they come in and check their ticket.”

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto have created 175 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 on Saturday 22 December 2018 were 5, 14, 41, 29, 43 and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 15.

Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 – two in Victoria and one each in New South Wales and Tasmania
