A Winston Hills man who was busy at work has received a surprise he never expected, discovering he won $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1431, drawn Monday 19 August 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the man revealed he never expected to win the 1st Prize.
“Oh my god!” he laughed.

“What a nice surprise for a Monday.
“That’s just excellent.
“I am a bit speechless.
“I never actually thought I’d win, so it feels very surreal.
“I can’t wait to tell my family. After I get off the phone to you I am going to call them all and tell them. They’re going to be so excited.”
Despite admitting he’d be distracted from work, the man shared he’d continue working for the rest of the day and would wait to celebrate.
“I am at work now. I would love to take the afternoon off but I think I’ll keep on working. I don’t know if I’ll be able to concentrate but,” he explained.
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the Sydney resident declared he’d go on a long holiday to Europe.
“I am going to go on a big trip to Europe with my family. We’ve been wanting to go for ages, but just kept putting it off,” he shared.
“We will go in style and for much longer than we ever hoped too. I’ll be celebrating this win in Europe.
“I’ll put some of my prize towards my mortgage too.”
The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of three random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $92.92 million for draw 1434 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.23 million for draw 10306.
