A North Ryde man is knocking off from work early today after discovering he’s had a $100,000 payday.
The Sydney winner took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10318, drawn Tuesday 1 October 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the man explained that he’d just checked his ticket.
“Woohoo!” he screamed with delight.
“Thank you so much.
“I’m at work at the moment but not for long! I might knock off early.
“I just went down to the newsagency and checked my ticket. I thought maybe I had won $1,000 but $100,000 is amazing!
“I can’t believe it!”
While he planned to show up to work tomorrow, the man revealed he’d use his prize to treat himself.
“I’m going to pay a huge chunk off my mortgage and go on an extended holiday to Queensland,” he said.
“This is great news! I can’t wait to celebrate tonight.”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Cox’s Road Newsagency, Shop 9, 203-213 Cox’s Road, North Ryde.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.20 million for draw 1453 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.92 million for draw 10319.
