A North Shore dad says he’s still sitting on his couch pinching himself after checking his Saturday Lotto entry to discover he’s started the week a multi-millionaire.
The New South Wales player held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4129 on Saturday 13 February 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $2,500,000.00.
Confirming his life-changing win with an official from The Lott this morning, the Sydney resident said he was still trying to digest the incredible news.
“This is fantastic,” he laughed.
“I cannot believe it! I honestly cannot believe it.
“It’s amazing.
“I checked the ticket online around lunch time yesterday. I am still trying to digest the news.
“I saw I had an $8.45 win first. Then I saw the rest. I thought it was an error!
“I’ve been sitting on the couch in shock ever since. I’m sitting here right now pinching myself!
“I won a little prize on Powerball last week and so I decided to buy a Superdraw ticket, and with it being Chinese New Year, I thought I’d grab a QuickPick.
“A lot of things are going through my head right now.
“I keep thinking I will wake up from this dream.
“It’s a completely life-changing event!”
When asked how he imagined life as a multi-millionaire, the loving dad said it would make things a lot easier.
“I’m looking forward to being able to help my children and being debt free,” he declared.
“I’ll keep working, I love my job. This will make life a lot easier.
“It’s hard to concentrate – my head is still spinning.”
The life-changing 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4129 on 13 February 2021 were 43, 22, 1, 4, 3 and 42 while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 25.
