An Oakleigh shopper is ready for a smorgasbord of fun adventures in 2019 after scratching one of the top prizes of $25,000 on a $2 Diner Dollars Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
But who the winner is, and how they will feast on their $25,000 win, will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Oakleigh Central Lotto, Kiosk 4, Oakleigh Central Shopping Centre, 39 Hanover Street, Oakleigh.
Owner of Oakleigh Central Lotto Yudy Sumarna said he was thrilled to hear his outlet had sold a top prize.
“How exciting! This is the first time our store has sold a top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its!” he exclaimed.
“A little while ago we had a winner win $4,000 on a $2 ticket and we were so excited about that – but now one of our customers has won $25,000. I can’t believe it!
“We’ve had a few other division one wins in store but it’s great to know we are lucky for Instant Scratch-Its too.
“We wish our customer all the best and hope this is the start of a winning streak for our customers!”
Instant Scratch-Its spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said the Oakleigh winner was just one of many Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners from Victoria in recent months
“While we don’t know what big plans the latest Instant Scratch-Its top prize winner has with this windfall, we do know that for many of our winners, seeing that prize in their bank accounts seeds lots of wonderful possibilities,” she said.
