A mystery Port Macquarie lottery player has just discovered they’re almost $1 million richer after checking their division one winning Saturday Lotto ticket.
The New South Wales player held one of the six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4143, drawn Saturday 3 April 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $965,635.64.
However, how they plan to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The life-changing 36-game QuickPick was purchased at Settlement City Newsagency, Shop 17, Settlement City Shopping Centre, Corner of Bay Street & Park Street, Port Macquarie.
Settlement City Newsagency team member Gail Alshin said it was fantastic to see a division one prize land in Port Macquarie.
“This is the first time in a few years we’ve sold a division one winning entry,” she said.
“We’re so happy to see this prize go to one of our customers.
“We are all so happy for them and hope it’s the first of many!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4143 on 3 April 2021 were 41, 1, 39, 31, 38 and 21, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 43.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4143 – two from Victoria and one each from New South Wales, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 329 so far this financial year, including 86 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In 2020, Saturday Lotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 312 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $355.13 million.
