A Pyrmont man is dreaming of a white Christmas, after discovering he won more than $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The happy player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10331, drawn Monday 11 November 2019.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the Sydney resident also won a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting his total bounty to $102,000.
A NSW Lotteries official broke the news of the win to the unexpectant winner this afternoon while he was busy at work.
“Oh wow!” the winner laughed.
“That is fantastic news!
“You’ve certainly brightened my day.
“Gosh I need to get my head around this. My head is spinning.
“I am at work, but I am not sure how I am going to concentrate for the rest of the day.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the surprised winner said his family was at the top of his list.
“I am going to share it with my family. Most of it will go to them,” he admitted.
“I might treat myself to a long holiday in Canada. Maybe I’ll even book something for Christmas and have a white Christmas! Wouldn’t that be lovely.”
The stoked winner purchased his winning entry at World News Centre Met Centre, Shop G11 Met Centre, 273 George Street, Sydney.
World News Centre Met Centre employee Olga Jurcagova said the outlet was celebrating selling a 1st Prize winning entry.
“It’s such great news. I am very happy,” she said.
“We are thrilled for our customer and we wish him all the best.
“Hopefully we sell some more winning entries to our customers soon.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $7.41 million draw 1458 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $6.61 million for draw 10332.
