A Quakers Hill woman says she’s had a happy distraction from an afternoon of work, thanks to the news she won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Sydney resident won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10417, drawn Tuesday 6 October 2020.
This afternoon an official from The Lott contacted the woman, who was completely oblivious to her windfall.
“Holy crap!” she laughed.
“Thank you so much.
“This is amazing!
“Wow. I can’t believe it.
“I was certainly not expecting this phone call on a Tuesday afternoon.
“I’m working from home at the moment, I don’t think I’ll be able to keep working this afternoon though.
“This is such a happy distraction. I’m amazed!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the woman said it would allow her to get ahead.
“Oh gosh! I’ll have to think about it,” she said.
“I’ve been looking at buying myself a home so this will be a huge help.
“It will certainly go towards a deposit.”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of 10 random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot is now $1.96 million for draw 1503 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $630,000 for draw 10418.
