The revelation of a life-enhancing $100,000 win in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw has prompted a Queanbeyan West man to clock off from work today earlier than expected.

The New South Wales player won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10523, drawn 31 January 2022.

When an official from The Lott broke the thrilling news to the hardworking man this morning, he was busy at work and oblivious to his win.

“You’re sh****** me! Oh, that’s unreal!” he cheered.

“I’m shaking! One hundred thousand dollars? Wow! This is wonderful news. I’ve been playing for a long time, so it’s nice to have a major lottery win! I’ve never won this much in my entire life.

“I’m currently in the car with my boss and we’re working. I don’t think I’ll be able to concentrate for the rest of the day. I’ll have to knock off early.

“Initially, I hung up on you because I thought you were a telemarketer. I won’t hang up on you next time you call to deliver winning news!

“Thank you! Thank you!”

While the prize offers the potential for a new car or a holiday, the euphoric winner confessed he was too stunned to make any concrete plans at this stage.

“I honestly don’t have a clue on what I’ll spend the prize on! With retirement around the corner, I’ll have to think about the future,” he said.

“I’ll have to tell my partner about the win as soon as I can. She won’t believe it!”

His winning entry of one random number was purchased at First Inland City Newsagency, Shop B, 140-144 Auburn Street, Goulburn.

The First Inland City Newsagency team are overjoyed to have sold a major lottery prize and wish their latest winner all the best.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.76 million for draw 1559, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $6.87 million for draw 10524.
