Two days after the draw, Adelaide’s newest millionaire has come forward to claim their prize, after scoring division one in Monday’s X Lotto draw making them the fifth major prize winner to claim their prize in as many days.
The winner held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 4010, drawn Monday 21 September 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $1 million.
The winner was unregistered, which means officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the winner and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
However, how the mystery millionaire plans to enjoy their life-changing windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was sold at OTR Salisbury Parabanks, 106-110 Salisbury Highway, Salisbury.
OTR Salisbury Parabanks spokesperson Kim Wimshurst said they were celebrating having one of their customers score a major lottery prize. “Seeing one of our OTR customers win big is always fantastic. We are thrilled that one of our valued OTR customers will have their life changed,” she said. “OTR wishes our winner the very best with their prize!”
The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said the latest Monday X Lotto millionaire was one of five major prize winners from South Australia who scored the big one in just five days.
“South Australia is certainly on a winning streak this week with five players from the Festival State taking home a major prize win!” she exclaimed.
“Saturday X Lotto crowned two South Australian division one winners from Adelaide and Aldinga beach, while a Port Lincoln woman scored a Lucky Lotteries $100,000 top prize on Monday.
“She wasn’t the only winner on Monday, with two Adelaide players scoring $1 million in Monday’s X Lotto draw.
“Will South Australia’s winning streak continue? We will just have to wait and see, but with plenty of offers up for grabs, we are sure to be chatting to another local soon!”
Last financial year, Monday & Wednesday X Lotto created 86 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Monday X Lotto draw 4010 on Monday 21 September 2020 were 22, 35, 18, 1, 4 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 136.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Monday X Lotto draw 4010 – both from South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 290 so far this calendar year, including 27 won by SA Lotteries customers.
Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 101 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $98 million.
