A Seven Hills woman is thanking her lucky stars after admitting she only bought her division one winning Saturday Lotto ticket two minutes before the draw’s close on the weekend.
The Sydneysider was among the nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4235, drawn Saturday 19 February 2022. Each scored a division one prize of $633,095.20.
“I’ve been waiting for your call!” the woman exclaimed when an official from The Lott contacted her.
“I’m over the moon! I’m speechless. It’s a wonder I didn’t have a heart attack.
“I checked my ticket just after the draw. I got online and had a look. I scrolled down. It was a big moment.
“I’m a regular player, but I nearly forgot about it on the weekend. I only got this ticket two minutes before the draw’s close. I can’t believe it.
“I couldn’t sleep on Saturday night. Every time I closed my eyes, all I saw were the numbers.
“This prize is going to put me in a good spot. It’s going to keep me very comfortable and allow me to retire early.
“I don’t need anything extravagant in life. I just want to live a comfortable and happy life.
“I never thought I’d get this winning phone call. I’ve still got a huge smile on my face, and I think I’ll have it for days!”
Her winning marked 50-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4235 on 19 February 2022 were 34, 18, 1, 5, 20 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 9.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4235 – three in Queensland and two each in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
