Twenty Shepparton locals are wearing winning smiles this morning after their long-running store syndicate won a total prize of $707,103.30 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – a $35,355.17 bounty for each syndicate ticket holder!

The winning syndicate was one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3983, drawn Saturday 21 September 2019. Each take home a division one prize of $594,970.80.

In addition to winning the coveted division one prize, the syndicate entry also won division two 6 times, division three 4 times, division four 150 times and division five 120 times, bolstering their total prize to $707,103.30.

The store syndicate consisting of two marked System 11 entries was sold at Shepparton Plaza Lotto, Shop 1, 310 High Street, Shepparton.

Shepparton Plaza Lotto owner Catherine Connor said she was thrilled one of the outlet’s longest-running syndicates had finally scored division one.

“This syndicate has been running for a very long time,” she explained.

“We’ve been running this for the 12 years we’ve been here, and it was running long before that.

“It’s just known in store as the ‘Weekly Tatts Syndicate’ and many of our customers know about it. It’s bought by a lot of regular customers who are locals to the area.

“It’s also our biggest syndicate so it’s exciting that so many of our customers get to share this prize.

“This syndicate has won division three and division two in the past so we are thrilled it has finally won division one!

“This is the eighth division one winning entry we’ve sold, the last was just a few weeks ago and we sold another just before Christmas last year.

“It’s so lovely to have sold another one again so soon – we are definitely on a hot streak!”

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some members of the winning syndicate held unregistered entries and may have yet to discover their winning news.

“What a great way to start your working week – discovering you’ve pocketed more than $35,000!” she said.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entry to their Tatts Cards, there are several syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
