Someone in Sydney pocketed $10 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw but may have yet to realise their good fortune.

The mystery player held the only division one winning entry across Australia in Oz Lotto draw 1342, drawn Tuesday 5 November 2019. They take home the entire division one prize of $10 million.

The winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means NSW Lotteries has no clues as to the identity of the ticketholder.

The winning entry was purchased at newsXpress Crows Nest, 25 Willoughby Road, Crows Nest.

newsXpress Crows Nest owner Louise Geng said she was thrilled to discover her outlet had sold a division one winning entry worth $10 million.

“We’ve had the outlet for just over two years and this is the first division one we’ve sold,” she said.

“It’s just fantastic news. How exciting! Ten million dollars!

“I hope our winner comes in to check their ticket soon so they can find out they’re now a multi-millionaire.”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged anyone in Sydney who had an entry into last night’s Oz Lotto draw to check their entry as soon as possible.

“There’s a good chance that someone has headed off to work this morning or started their day running errands, completely unaware that they’ve woken up $10 million richer,” he said.

“While you may not think it’s possible that you’re last night’s division one winner, if you purchased your Oz Lotto ticket in Crows Nest, you’re in with a chance!

“I can’t wait to hear the screams of joy or stunned silence when this player contacts us to confirm the life-changing news.

“If you realise your entry into last night’s Oz Lotto draw contains the winning combination of numbers, hold on tight to that ticket and call us immediately on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

NSW Lotteries reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Players Club card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 17 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $334 million.  During this time, the biggest Oz Lotto jackpot was $80 million on 25 June 2019, which was won by two division one winning entries that took home $40 million each.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1342 on Tuesday 5 November 2019 were 24, 4, 36, 23, 42, 8 and 30. The supplementary numbers were 21 and 37.

Across Australia, there was only one division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1342 – an entry from New South Wales.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 319 so far this calendar year, including 92 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
