Nearly 48 hours after the draw, officials from the Lott are yet to hear the winning screams of delight from the New South Wales player who scored the division one prize of $50 million in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw.

The mystery winner held the only division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1339, drawn Tuesday 15 October 2019 and takes home the entire $50 million division one prize.

The search for the country’s newest multi-millionaire continues with the Lott this morning revealing the winning ticket was sold at Leumeah Newsagency, 4 O’Sullivan Road, Leumeah.

As the Leumeah entry was not registered to a player card, officials have no way to contact the ticketholder and break the mind-blowing news which means the winner may have yet to discover they are walking around $50 million richer.

Anyone who purchased an entry into Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw from Leumeah Newsagency is urged to check their ticket immediately.

Leumeah Newsagency owner Ben Van Cao said he was absolutely thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry.

“Wow! That is very good news! Very, very good news!” he exclaimed.

“We are so excited. We’ve sold two division one winning entries in the past but nothing ever this big.

“This is by far the biggest prize we’ve ever sold so we are thrilled.

“We hope we can unite the winner with their prize soon!”

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said she encouraged everyone who purchased an entry at Leumeah Newsagency to check their ticket as they could be one of Australia’s newest multi-millionaires.

“While we haven’t been able to confirm the win with our Macarthur region winner, we can guarantee their life is about to change when their bank account balloons by a massive $50 million,” she said.

“Make sure you check your entry as soon as possible because you may be heading into the weekend a multi-millionaire – imagine how your plans would change!

“You may not think you are the winner we are searching for but if you purchased an entry into Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw you could be a winner.

“Only last month, when an Ipswich woman claimed an unregistered $50 million prize a week after the draw, she confessed even though she had heard there had been a winner locally she simply didn’t believe it.

“Thankfully she checked her ticket just in case and she is currently enjoying her multi-million dollar prize.

“That could be a reality for our Leumeah player if only they would check their ticket either online, in store or via the Lott app and discover they are the winner we are searching for!”

Ms Spencer also reminded players of the importance of registering their tickets to a player card.

“We recommend all players register their entries to our free membership service to ensure their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win,” she said.

“We are in the business of paying prizes and cannot wait to unite our newest winner with their windfall.”

This is the 10th division one winning entry in Oz Lotto so far this year.  These 10 division one winning entries have shared $285 million in division one prize money.

A total of 816,593 prizes worth more than $67.8 million were won across all divisions. This includes 12 division two winners who each landed $42,198.10.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 17 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $334 million.  During this time, the biggest Oz Lotto jackpot was $80 million on 25 June 2019, which was won by two division one winning entries that took home $40 million each.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1339 were 5, 32, 22, 13, 20, 25 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 23.

The Lott’s division one winning tally across all Australian lottery games has now reached 291 so far this calendar year.
