Ten Preston lottery players have each walked away with a tasty slice of $812,000 after their decade-long syndicate entry scored them a division one win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The store syndicate entry was one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4063, drawn Saturday 27 June 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $797,002,74.

As well as winning the division one prize, the store syndicate’s marked System 8 entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $812,583.54.

Each syndicate member receives a share worth $81,258.35.

Shares in the syndicate were purchased at Town Hall Lotto, 403 High Street, Preston.

Town Hall Lotto manager Johnson Wang said he was incredibly excited to discover his outlet had sold a division one winning syndicate.

“The news had all of our staff members rushing to find out which syndicate had won!” he exclaimed.

“This syndicate has been running for over a decade and is lovingly known by its customers and staff as ‘Saturday 15’.

“This is our 50th division one winning entry we have sold over the past two decades.

“It’s a grand milestone for us, and we will be sharing the good news with our customers.

“We have been looking at our sign that says ’49 division one winners’ for the last 18 months so we will be happy to see it change to the big 5-0.

“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in December 2018. We feel like we’ve been waiting a long time.

“We hope it starts a good winning streak for the rest of the year!

“We are very appreciative of all the support from our players and we are over the moon to give our winners the division one win they have been waiting for.

“We wish them the best of luck and we hope to see them again soon!”

The Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.

“It’s fair to say these syndicate members have had a great start to their week by pocketing over $80,000 each!” she exclaimed.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their Tatts Cards, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the most recent TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call Tatts on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
