A Walkley Heights shopper is celebrating the discovery they are now $100,000 richer after coming forward to claim their Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize, bringing to a close three weeks of speculation as to where the mystery winner could be.

The winner landed the guaranteed 1st prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10245 on Wednesday 5 September 2018.

The winning ticket was not registered to an Easiplay Club card, which meant SA Lotteries officials had been unable to deliver the dream-come-true news, and had to wait until the winner came forward to claim their prize.

How the thrilled winner plans to spend their Lucky Lotteries windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning entry was purchased at Walkley Heights Newsagency, Walkley Heights Shopping Centre, Corner Wright Road and RM Williams Drive, Walkley Heights.

Walkley Heights Newsagency manager Vicki Morgan said she was thrilled to have sold the outlet’s first Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot first prize.

“This is the first big Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize we’ve sold!” she exclaimed.

“We’ve sold a X Lotto division one and both Keno and Instant Scratch-Its top prizes in the past, so we are thrilled to have sold a Lucky Lotteries now too!

“We are so pleased the winner has come forward to claim their prize so they can start to enjoy their windfall!”

SA Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said the winner’s three-week delay in coming forward was a great reminder to players to register their entries, with a record-breaking jackpot of more than $20 million up for grabs in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot.

“For the first time since the game’s introduction to South Australian customers, the jackpot prize for SA Lotteries’ Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot has cracked $20 million!” she exclaimed.

“Unlike other lottery games, there is only a limited number of tickets available in each Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw, which means players need to get in quick if they want a chance to win over $20 million in the upcoming draw.

“While every draw guarantees more than 10,000 winners, it’s been a while since someone has landed the jackpot prize.

“We are hoping it is another SA Lotteries customer and that they are registered so we can call them with the life-changing news!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $20.92 million for draw 1134 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.32 million for draw 10249.

SA Lotteries customers can purchase a single ticket number into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for $2.20 and the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot for $5.50. For your chance to make today your ‘Lucky’ day, why not get your paws on a Lucky Lotteries ticket at your local SA Lotteries outlet or online.
