A Toowoomba mum says she can’t quite believe her good fortune, winning division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw exactly three years after she scored division two in Powerball.
The Darling Downs resident held one of the six division one winning entries across the country in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4067 on Saturday 11 July 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $856,213.56.
Confirming her win with an official from the Lott this morning, the woman explained she’d spent the past two days in shock.
“Thank you so much,” she said.
“It’s incredible. We won second division in Powerball exactly three years ago!
“That was a great prize but to win this is unbelievable.
“I checked the ticket early on Sunday morning and didn’t go to sleep.
“I’m super excited!
“I’ve been playing Saturday Gold Lotto for a long time and I play the same numbers every time.
“Some are special numbers like family birthdays and others are completely random.
“I am just so happy!”
As for how she will enjoy her division one windfall, the Toowoomba mum said it will take the pressure off in a massive way.
“This will be a huge help for our family,” she explained.
“We will be able to pay our house off and help our children out.
“I definitely want to buy a new car and we will also be supporting some of our local charities.
“It’s going to be amazing.”
The division one winning 12-game marked entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
In 2019, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto created 203 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4067 [youtube.com] on Saturday 11 July 2020 were 38, 22, 27, 26, 32 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 30 and 42.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4067 – four from Victoria and two from Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 207 so far this calendar year, including 60 won by Golden Casket customers.
