The news of an $800,000 Monday & Wednesday X Lotto win has sent an Edwardstown man into a giggling fit.
“I checked the ticket last night, and I couldn’t believe it,” he shared when speaking with an official from The Lott this morning.
“I’ve been playing these same numbers for a long time. Some of them are special numbers, like birthdays. The others are just numbers I consider a bit lucky.
“When I realised I’d won division one, I immediately started laughing. I couldn’t stop laughing! I was having a giggling fit.
“It just made me so happy.
“I had the best sleep last night, too. It made me feel so peaceful.
“I haven’t had much chance to think about what I’ll do with my prize. I know I’ll keep working.
“I want to go and see a financial advisor and see how I can make this prize grow even more.
“It’s incredible. It was a big shock.”
His winning marked System entry was purchased at Kylie Brown's Newsagency, Shop 17 / Bayside Village Shopping Cent, Cnr Jetty & Brighton Road, Glenelg.

After discovering she’d won $800,000 in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto late last night, a Morphett Vale woman immediately called her best friend so they could celebrate the news.
“I’ve been using these numbers for years and years,” she explained when an official from The Lott reached out to her.
“They’re very special numbers. They’re a mix of birthdays and things like that.
“I found out very late last night. I couldn’t believe it when I saw those numbers won me division one.
“I called my best friend immediately to let her know. She was so excited for me! We were screaming on the phone.
“I’m so over the moon.
“This prize will make things so much easier for me. It will make a world of difference to my family’s life.
“We’ll use the money to pay off our mortgage, and then we’ll look at buying a small investment property.
“I’d love to take my family on holiday too. The kids need a bit of spoiling!”
