A single mum from Werribee has declared her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win is ‘life-changing’ for her family.
The Victorian woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10302, drawn Tuesday 30 July 2019.
Speaking with a Tatts official this morning to confirm her win, the Melbourne resident explained how much the prize meant to her family.
“Oh my god! Thank you so, so much,” she cried.
“I am over the moon! I am absolutely thrilled.
“When I scanned my ticket today, I didn’t believe I’d won. I thought there must be an error.
“I am truly, truly grateful. I am speechless.
“I feel very emotional. I just want to scream and cry.
“I am a single mum and I have a big family and we’ve gone through some tough time so this really will help us so much.
“It’s security. It means we can relax a little bit.
“This will make a huge difference to our lives. You probably don’t realise how much! It’s life changing.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, it was her family she thought of first.
“I am going to put it towards my kids schooling and then take them on a holiday,” she explained.
“We haven’t been on a holiday for years and we haven’t ever been anywhere really nice before, so I want to take them on a really nice holiday somewhere in North Queensland and just enjoy family time.
“I am going to take the kids out for a nice dinner tonight and break the news to them then. I don’t think they’ll believe me! I am sure they’ll be very shocked but very excited.”
The mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of three random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $88.60 million for draw 1416 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.97 million for draw 10304.
