A Lennox Head man has confessed he’s running on caffeine and adrenaline today after checking his million-dollar-winning Weekday Windfall ticket over the weekend and barely sleeping a wink since.
The Northern Rivers resident held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4473, drawn Monday 25 November 2024. He looks forward to $1 million.
When officials from The Lott confirmed his prize, the cherry man shared that he’d had a feeling all week long that he’d won something big.
“This is so fricken good!” the winning man cheered.
“I’ve barely had any sleep the last couple of nights waiting to get your phone call.
“I told myself that I wasn’t going to fully celebrate until I heard the news from you.
“It feels like I’ve had about 19 coffees this morning just to keep myself awake.
“Weirdly, I had a feeling all week that I’d won something big.
“I didn’t imagine this big! One million dollars is crazy!
“You really can’t fathom a major lottery win until it happens to you.
“I’ll be running on caffeine and adrenaline today. I’m sure I’ll sleep like a baby tonight.”
With $1 million about to boost his bank account, the winning man shared he was looking forward to living life to the fullest.
“I’ve had a fairly stressful life, so this is truly a godsend,” he said.
“I’m full of gratitude that a win like this has landed my way, and I can live life to the fullest.”
His winning entry was purchased TSG Lennox Head, Shop 3, 5 Snapper Drive, NSW, Lennox Head.

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4473 on Monday 25 November 2024 were 12, 17, 42, 14, 39, and 8 while the supplementary numbers were 23 and 25.
