A Woonona woman admitted she’s in a “fuzzy state” and going to be in a “whirlwind” all day after answering the phone to news she’d become a Monday Lotto millionaire.

The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4030, drawn Monday 30 November 2020 and takes home a division one prize of $1 million.

An official from The Lott broke the news to the woman this morning, who was still in bed and had no idea she’d become an overnight millionaire.

“Wait, can you say that again? Did you really say I’ve won one million dollars?” she laughed.

“Oh no, you are joking!

“Oh my gosh. I don’t understand this! Are you sure?

“My god, this is more than overwhelming! I am all over the place.

“I just can’t believe this. I can’t work out how this happened!

“You must be having me on?! A millionaire!

“I can’t think. I am very confused.

“You’ve got me in a fuzzy state! I don’t want to get too excited, I might drop dead!

“I am going to be in a whirlwind all day. Wow!”

When asked how she intended to enjoy her million-dollar-win the elated woman said she needed to let the news sink in before she made any plans.

“I don’t even believe this is real, so I can’t even begin to imagine what I will do with it,” she explained.

“Of course, I’ll share it with my family.

“I can’t wait to tell them! I might take them out for lunch this week and break the news then.”

The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning marked 12-game entry from East Woonona Newsagency, 30 Park Street, Woonona East.

East Woonona Newsagency owner Paul Schmidt said he couldn’t be happier for his winner.

“What incredible news,” he said.

“We are stoked for our winner! I can imagine it was a great way to start the day, finding out you’ve just become a millionaire.

“We’ve sold a few division one winning entries in the past and it’s always so exciting.

“I’d love to send my congratulations to our winner. The whole team here wish her the very best with her prize.

“Hopefully it can make for an extra special Christmas!”
