Ahead of the decade’s first $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw this weekend, the Lott has crunched the data and can reveal which star sign took home the most division one prizes in 2019 (table 1).

In the 12 months ending 31 December 2019, the planets aligned for Pisces players, delivering those born between 19 February and 20 March the most division one fortune of all star signs, with 11.6% of division one wins.

As we transition to the cycle of Pisces on the cusp of this weekend’s Saturday Lotto $20 million Superdraw, it will be interesting to see if the fish sign continues to deliver division one prizes for these players.

Not far behind Pisces were Gemini players scoring 9.9% of division one wins, Virgos followed closely with 8.9%.

Sagittarians may hope the new decade brings a change in fortune; players born between 22 November and 21 December enjoyed the least amount of division one wins of all star signs, with 6%.

With the first Saturday Lotto Superdraw of the decade just around the corner, the Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said it would be interesting to see if these winning trends continued for the different star signs.

“Pisces are typically considered to be generous and empathetic in nature, with a deep sense of kindness and compassion,” she explained.

“It would be interesting to know if these traits transcended with their lottery windfalls and they shared their prizes with their loved ones.

“We often hear from our Saturday Lotto division one winners that the people they think of first after hearing the life-changing news is their family and friends.”

As Saturday Lotto was known as the game that created more millionaires than any other, Ms Cooney said only time would tell how many players would start the decade as millionaires after this weekend’s draw.

“We cannot wait to crown the decade’s first group of Superdraw winners and hear what dreams they plan on making a reality,” Ms Cooney said.

“While it’s interesting to see the latest winning astrology trends, it’s important to remember that lotteries are fun games of chance. No matter what your star sign is, as long as you have an entry, there’s a chance a win could be in your future.

“For anyone buying an entry, I recommend that you register your entry to a player card. This means your prize is secure and I can give you a call with the life-changing news if you’re holding a division one winning entry.”
