A group of 20 north-east Victorians have shared in a $1.25 million prize from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The players were part of a 20-share store syndicate, which held one of the 16 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4243 on Saturday 19 March 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $1.25 million.
Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $63,075.98.
Shares in the winning syndicate were purchased at Yarrawonga News & Gifts, 81 Belmore Street, Yarrawonga.
Yarrawonga News & Gifts owners Gary Douglas and Sue Castelow said it was fantastic to sell a division one winning syndicate given they only took over the business in August last year.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have sold a division one winning ticket!” Gary exclaimed.
“There’s been a buzz around the shop andtown since the news broke. Everyone hopes it’s them that’s won a share in the prize money.
“It’s created a wonderful atmosphere around the place, and to find out it’s a syndicate of 20 people, knowing that it will be shared among friends and families, is so exciting.
“We wish all the syndicate members the best for their futures and hope they enjoy this fantastic news.”
The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said he urged anyone who purchased a syndicate entry from Yarrawonga News & Gifts to check their tickets today.
“Congratulations to those who are a part of this winning syndicate. We’re sure the prize will make many of their dreams a reality,” he said.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4243 on 19 March 2022 were 32, 24, 43, 38, 10 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 25.
